Oregon State University, Department of Microbiology
"Predictive functional profiling of microbial communities: Theory, tools and current applications from chronic disease to wildlife conservation"

The Microbiome Working Group intends to provide an informal infrastructure for networking and continuing education relevant to microbiome research. As the field is very new, rapidly evolving and multidisciplinary by nature, there is value in connecting people and ideas across CUMC. The group meets twice a month throughout the 2015–2016 academic year consisting of either a research talk or a journal club discussion.

To receive information about upcoming events, sign up for the listserv, or suggest speakers for the seminar series, please contact Ryan Demmer at rdemmer@columbia.edu.

This seminar is cosponsored by the Microbiome Working Group and the Department of Epidemiology.
