Titles

Adjunct Associate Research Scientist

I am a PhD student in the Department of Biomedical Informatics, Department of Systems Biology, and Center of Computational Biology and Bioinformatics, advised by Andrea Califano. My research interests include cancer genomics, microRNA regulation networks, and transcription factor regulation networks. Recently, I have been working on developing methods for the annotation and interpretation of cancer genetic variations by integrating different regulation networks.

Before arriving at Columbia, I was a data analyst at the Alibaba Group. During 2010-2011, I was an exchange scholar at the Human Genome Sequencing Center at Baylor College of Medicine, advised by Rui Chen. I completed my MS in molecular biology and biochemistry, and a BA in information management and information systems at East China Normal University.
