Sergey Pampou is an associate research scientist in the High-Throughput Screening Facility at Columbia Genome Center. His primary focus of research is cell-based assay development and implementation with the focus on high-content assays for human diseases. Previously he was working on bacterial functional genomics studies, constructing microarrays for pathogen human bacteria (L. pneumophila). His PhD thesis work at Moscow Cardiology Research Center was dedicated to studying the viral involvement in pathogenesis of atherosclerosis.
