Few people know that Harris Wang, interim chair of Systems Biology, is also a superhero—at least in the eyes of Hiroki Otsuka, a professional manga artist. Otsuka’s illustrated profile of Wang was commissioned by the Vilcek Foundation; it is the sixth manga in a series designed to creatively amplify the contributions of immigrants and Vilcek Foundation prizewinners. (Wang received a Vilcek Prize for Creative Promise in Biomedical Science in 2022).
