Titles

Postdoctoral Research Scientist

I am a postdoctoral research scientist in Peter Sims’ laboratory. My current research interests include both the development and application of microwell-based single cell mRNA sequencing technology.

Prior to my recruitment at Dr. Sims’ group, I obtained my PhD in mechanical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. There I studied locomotion of the small model organism C. elegans with a focus on the fluid mechanical aspect of swimming. My work included developing microwell/microfluidics-based high throughput technologies for monitoring behavior of individual C. elegans as well as sorting C. elegans based on their motility.
