Chao Hou
Chao is a postdoctoral research scientist at Dr. Yufeng Shen lab, studying computational biology and human genetics. He's currently working on developing first principle driven protein embedding models, and is also interested in investigating the functions and pathogenic mutations of disordered regions.
Chao received a PhD degree of Bioinformatics from Peking Univeristy with Dr. Tingting Li. During that time, Chao developed computational tools to investigate phase separation and protein degradation.
