Eve Byington is a bioinformatics analyst at the JP Sulzberger Columbia Genome Center, where she is involved in upgrading and maintaining the RNA-seq, exome-seq and whole genome sequencing analysis pipelines. Prior to joining the Genome Center she worked at the Boston University Bioinformatics Hub, developing a novel algorithm to quantify genetic expression correlation from mRNA-Seq data and discovering patterns which map to topologically associated domains (TADs). She is currently interested in exploring novel methodologies and disease-related genetic discovery using scRNA-Seq technology.
