Noga Aharony

Titles

Graduate Research Assistant (DSB)

Noga Aharony  is a Ph.D. candidate at the AlQuraishi lab. Her research focuses on how to represent data collected in biology, such as genomes and proteomes, in a manner that better enables their analysis. Currently, she is utilizing machine learning architectures derived from state space models to construct a foundational genome language model. This model could help annotate and characterize the vast corpus of DNA sequences whose function is unknown and help generate whole genomes for synthetic biology applications.
