Graduate Research Assistant (DSB)

Romella Sagatelian is a PhD student in the department of Systems Biology. She grew up in Palo Alto, CA and received her undergraduate degree from UC San Diego where she studied molecular biology and data science. At UCSD, Romella worked under Jill Mesirov to better understand the genetic landscape of uveal melanomas. Currently, Romella is interested in leveraging computational tools to make new insights about genetic drivers of cancer progression and metastasis.
