Somnath Tagore

Titles

Postdoctoral Research Scientist

Somnath is a Postdoctoral Research Scientist in Andrea Califano's laboratory. His research interests include network science, computational systems biology, graphs, percolations and optimizations. Currently, he is focusing on developing benchmarking strategies for algorithms as well as studying drug perturbation and synergistic effects on various cancer models.

Prior to his recruitment at Dr. Califano’s group, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Milana Frenkel-Morgenstern’s lab at Bar-Ilan University, Israel, with the prestigious PBC (VATAT) Postdoctoral Fellowship from Government of Israel. He also handled independent collaborative projects with Alfonso Valencia lab at Spanish National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO), Lars Juhl Jensen lab at University of Copenhagen, Eviatar Nevo lab at Haifa University and Weizmann Institute of Science.
