Albert Lee is a PhD student in the Department of Biomedical Informatics working in the laboratory of Raul Rabadan. He received his BS in molecular, cell, and developmental biology with honors from the University of California at Los Angeles. In 2012, he entered the world of computational biology and was instantly hooked. In 2013, he received his master's in biomedical informatics and decided to pursue further studies in this area by embarking on a journey of the PhD program. His research interest centers on studying cancer and infectious diseases using high-throughput genomic data. He is a 2014-2015 awardee of the Training Grant in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology.
