Jin Billy Li, PhD, is an associate professor of genetics at Stanford University. Dr. Li's laboratory is primarily interested in identifying and understanding sequence variations in the RNA and DNA. In particular, they focus on RNA editing where genomically encoded information is changed in the RNA. They aim to identify RNA editing events in the entire transcriptomes, and understand their regulation and function. He will deliver a talk as part of the Department of Systems Biology Distinguished Guest Speaker Seminar series.
